Melissa Avila

Customer Success Manager

With 17 years of industry experience, Melissa’s compassionate and collaborative approach consistently delivers positive customer experiences. Her expert communication skills and wealth of title knowledge serve to strengthen the B2B relationships here at Equity. After studying psychology at UConn, Melissa's career began at a small local real estate firm, and just two years later, she found herself at a local national title company where she earned her Paralegal certification. That was the first indication she would be a winner in her field.

Melissa got her start here at Equity in 2016 as a national Purchase Officer, and now brings that versatile background knowledge and winning spirit to the role of Customer Success Manager. She’s become an invaluable resource to our internal teams and external client partners alike. During her high school years, Melissa was a successful, competitive athlete – from track to gymnastics to competition cheerleading. All of these experiences resonate in the way she approaches her career now; with resilience, confidence, and a desire to continually learn and grow.

A native of Rhode Island, Melissa is most proud to be raising three daughters with kindness, compassion, strength, and of course, a sense of humor.
